About WMS Gaming
WMS Gaming along with Williams Interactive are the main operating subsidiaries of WMS Industries, Inc with its main headquarters in Las Vegas Nevada.
The company was formed by Harry E. Williams in 1943 as Williams Manufacturing Company, and then in 1974 as Williams Electonics, Inc. More recently it became a wholly owned subsidiary of Scientific Games.
Williams has been at the forefront of games and entertainment first with pinball machines, arcade video games with Pong, Defender and Robotron: 2084 as its most famous titles.
In 1994 WMS produced its first reel-spinning slot machine, its first hit casino slot machine was Reel 'em In a multi-line, multi-coin secondary bonus video slot machine.
Since then it has had success after success with the Monopoly themed Slots, and a number of Movie and TV entertainment related slots including Men in Black, Top Gun, The Wizard of Oz and The Dukes of Hazzard.
